What happens to what you send
A completed request is recorded and read. It then goes to a restoration company working in Moreno Valley, which is the party that prices the job, and the answer comes back to you directly from them on the number or the email address you gave.
What you will not find anywhere on this site is a promise about how quickly that happens, and that is deliberate. Any page can print any number of minutes it likes, nobody checks, and somebody standing in water tends to believe it. So the number would tell you nothing and you might act on it anyway. The request goes to somebody who does this work, and until it is answered the thing that needs attention is the water rather than the message.

There is no phone number on this site yet
A tracked line for this site has not been set up, and rather than print a number that rings somewhere else, the site prints none. The form below is the whole of the route in and it reaches the same place a call would.
When a line does exist it will take a message rather than reach a person, and it will announce that it is recording, because California asks every party to a call to agree to a recording being made. That is written here now so that the page does not have to be rewritten around it later.

Stopping a leak
Finding and repairing a failed supply line is a licensed plumbing job and this site does not route it. The damage the water has already done is a separate piece of work and that half is what belongs here. The signs of a slab leak is written to help you tell which stage you are at.

Testing or identifying mold
Sampling and identification belong to a hygienist or an inspector, and the party who tests should not be the party who removes: the incentive runs the wrong way. The mold remediation page covers what removal involves and where the line between the two sits.

Anything about an insurance policy
Nobody here can say what a policy covers or how a claim will land, and nobody here is going to handle a claim on your behalf. What is safe and useful is the paperwork: photograph everything before it is moved, keep the dates, and keep the removed material until it has been seen.
Questions about sending a request
What should I put in the message?
Which rooms are affected, what the floors and walls are made of, when you first saw it, and what you have already done. If you know where the water came from, say so, and if you do not, say that instead. A description that admits what you are unsure about is more useful than a confident guess, because the guess is the thing a contractor has to check first anyway.
Do I have to attach photographs?
No, and the request goes without them. They change the quality of the answer more than anything else you can do, though, and the useful ones are wide frames of the room taken before anything is moved rather than close-ups of a stain.
Will I be signing up for anything?
No. Sending a request is describing a problem. It does not book a contractor, agree a price, or create an obligation to have work done, and there is no account to create.
What if it turns out I need a plumber instead?
Then that is what the answer says. A supply line failing under a slab is a plumber's job to find and stop, and this site does not route that work. What follows it, which is the water already in the flooring and the walls, is restoration. If you are not sure which you have, describe what you can see and let somebody else make the distinction.
What happens after I press send?
The request is recorded and read, and it goes to a restoration company working in this city so somebody can put a scope and a number against it. The reply comes back to you by phone or by email, whichever you gave, and it comes from the company doing the quoting rather than from this site.
