Terms of use
Using this site means reading it, and possibly sending a request. These terms say what that does, what it does not do, and who carries the responsibility for any work that follows.
What this service is
Moreno Valley Apex Water Damage publishes information about restoration work and passes requests for quotes to a restoration company operating in Moreno Valley. It does not perform restoration work, hold a contractor licence, employ technicians, or attend properties.
Wherever these pages say we, the word means the people who run this website. It never means a contractor, and no contractor named or unnamed is an agent of this site.
What sending a request does
A request is a description of a problem sent so that somebody can price it. Submitting one creates no contract with this site, no contract with any contractor, and no obligation on you to accept anything offered afterwards.
A figure that comes back is an offer from the party who made it. Any agreement to do work is between you and that party, on their paperwork, and this site is not a party to it, does not hold your money, and does not take a share of what you pay.
Nothing on this site guarantees that a given request will be picked up. If nobody is in a position to quote a job, that is the outcome, and it is a better outcome than an answer from somebody who cannot do the work.
Who is responsible for the work
The contractor is. They carry the licence, the insurance, the warranty on what they do, and the liability for how they do it. Those obligations belong to the company that signs the contract and cannot be transferred to a website by either of us wishing it.
California requires a written contract on home improvement work over $500 and sets out what that document has to contain, including a payment schedule and the contractor's own licence number. Checking that number against the state register, and reading the contract before signing it, is the homeowner's step and no part of it happens here.
This site makes no representation about the competence, standing or conduct of any contractor, and gives no assurance about the outcome of any job.
What the pages here are, and are not
The written material on this site is general information about how restoration work is done, put together so a reader can follow what a contractor is telling them. Figures published here are attributed to whoever published them, and the attribution is there so you can go and check rather than take our word for it.

It is not advice about your property
Nobody here has seen the house. A page cannot tell you whether a floor can be dried in place or has to come out, and anything on this site that reads like it might is a description of how the decision is usually made rather than the decision itself.

It is not insurance advice
Nothing here states what a policy covers or predicts how a claim will be handled. What the pages describe is documentation, which is a record of what happened rather than a view about what anybody owes you.

It is not medical advice
The material about mold covers what it is, what removing it involves, and what drives the price. It does not diagnose a symptom, name an illness, or state a level at which anything becomes harmful. A question about health is a question for a doctor.
Links to other sites
Pages here link to public bodies and utilities so that a figure can be checked at source. Those organisations are not connected to this site and have no involvement in it. What is on them today may not be what was on them when a page here was written, which is why the date a source was read is recorded alongside the claim it supports.
Using the site
Read it, quote it, send somebody a link to it. What is not welcome is automated submission of the form, scraping the pages at volume, or copying the material wholesale to publish somewhere else as though it were written there.
The words and pictures on these pages were made for this site and belong to it. The published figures quoted here belong to the organisations named beside them.
Changes, and the law that applies
These terms can change, and the date at the top of the page moves when they do. Using the site after a change means the version on the page at that point is the one that applies.
The site is operated for a service area in California and California law applies to it. Nothing here removes a right you have under California consumer law, and where a term on this page and that law disagree, the law wins.
